Draughtsman

This job involves the preparation of drawings/shop drawings that conform to sales order specifications, preparing and updating technical documentation, including drawings, plans, and specifications. It also involves follow-up and communicating with all internal and external stakeholders from inception of each project until completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and shop drawings as per sales order specifications
• Prepare and update technical documentation (drawings, plans, and specifications)
• Ensure accuracy, quality and timely delivery of all drawings
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchasing and other departments
• Follow up with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders until project completion
• Maintain proper filing and version control of drawings and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Draughting, or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of woodworking, materials and joinery is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
